The ROG Ally X as a PC replacement

Hi, so i have a lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15arh05 and its falling apart so much that it's worth it to buy a new laptop or pc at this point. Anyways my question is, is it worth it to replace my laptop with the ROG Ally X, mouse, keyboard and a monitor. I could just take it out of the dock for trips, my brother has a switch 2 and it's portability is very nice and i would like a handheld too, just universal for all windows games. So i would use the portability too. My primary focus is gaming, but i would be doing some work on it too. So is it worth it?

The tip sleeve got stuck on the ceramic heating element.

So, I am new to soldering, i have my dad's iron and the tip burned to a crisp, so i bought a set of new ones. Except the iron is 900M, so i bought 900M with my dad. But it doesnt fit. It turns out that the iron is infact 900M, but the tip's sleeve got stuck. And we don't know how to take it off. Our iron is the WEP 928D-I

This is how the iron looks like:

And how its supposed to be:

How its supposed to be

So, only the burned tip fits, and We can't do anything.
