Puntland rejects federal fisheries licensing deal, warns foreign companies

It seems from the article that any revenue collected whether its in Puntland or other regions are solely meant for Mogadishu and Turkey and not for the rest of Somalis living in Somalia.

Somali Passport Holders told to Leave SL within 10 Days.

It seems SL are pushing its luck further and further every day to see what they can get away with.

Essentially they have given residents and business owners who hold a passport from Somalia 10 days to close up and leave (Hargeisa, Burco & Berbera).

Thoughts?

Disrespectful Indian YouTuber detained in SL for his videos

Made a previous post about this Indian guy who went to Mogadishu just to disrespect the country, its people and portray the country in negative way even though he was welcomed and received love by the locals.

He decided to visit SL where the local authorities detained him and denied him entry after seeing his content (see the next photo).

Honestly I have to give respect where it's due. It seems Mogadishu allows this disrespect from foreign content creators which for years have come to visit the city just to sh*t on the country and its ppl for clout.

When will the government in Mogadishu ever learn

Made a post about this last year. Foreign YouTubers flying to Mogadishu with the hopes of producing content like this. They have now filled the YouTube algorithm. Whenever you either search Somalia or Mogadishu you'll see videos like this portraying destruction, violence, terrorism and danger.

Sad part is the locals and everyone they come across show them love and hospitality. I've said this last year but there should be a complete ban on any YouTubers or foreign content creators coming to Somalia to film.

6 bedroom villa for rent only $350/m?

Why are houses in Hargeisa much cheaper than the rest of Somalia. I'm talking about 3-5x cheaper? Never understood this. Or is it just greed where people are overcharging and taking advantage of others?

This villa has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, space for 4 cars, located in Hodan Hills which is a nice area of Hargeisa, build to a high spec to rent for only $350/month. There are even other villas to rent in Hargeisa for as little as $150/month and don't understand why this isn't the case for the rest of the country.
