35[NB4R] #online - Looking for a genuine connection anywhere
TL;DR - AuDHD, witchy, nerdy afab enby seeks deep conversations and genuine connections with similar folks 😄
Hey, thanks for clicking on this post. I hope your weekend wasn't too stressful.
I'm here searching for a connection (or connections?) with folks who have a similar vibe, I guess. What's the vibe you ask? Well, I'm a bit of a homebody but I'm working on fixing that. My friends would describe me as funny, kind to a fault, and a bit of a stoner I guess. I'm gainfully employed but outside of work I enjoy things like gaming, reading, hiking, crafts, and chatting. I'm unapologetically pretty queer (afab enby) and liberal in my ideals and values.
I'm also spiritual in a witchy way, I love nature and pretty rocks and full moons. Not in a way that I don't believe in science, but in a way that I think both can exist at the same time 😄 Let me read your cards and then rant to you about how capitalism is destroying our ecosystem.
Who are you, potentially? Someone who has passion for *something* you know? I love an autistic rant about your niche interest, and I would love to yap back at you about my own stuff. Maybe you have a deep appreciation of nature, literature, insects, Star Wars, etc. I want to learn about it and watch my FYP slowly start to feed me content that you enjoy, too.
What I really value the most in connections with new people is consistency and good meaningful conversations. I don't mean we have to text all day every day, but some kind of reliability is nice. I also really really enjoy long-form messages (and short ones are good too!) but I like the thought and intention put into something longer.
Let's send each other little things that remind us of the other person throughout the day. Let's discuss politics and philosophy and the general state of the world. Maybe we agree, maybe we don't, but let's talk about it anyway.
This is getting long, and it's definitely rambly, so I'll just stop here. If any of this sounds appealing to you, reach out. But please say something more meaningful than just hey. We can potentially move conversations off of Reddit and to Discord once we've decided that makes sense for us.
