I’ve gotten into my program late, and I know there’s meant to be backcharges for me. I don’t see them as part of my acorn invoice. Does this mean I won’t be backcharged? I don’t want them to drop a huge bill on me in the middle of the semester or something
I’m not really good at them, but I’ve been using command blocks to make a Walking Dead style of zombie apocalypse in Minecraft bedrock. So far, I’ve made it so zombies and their variants are the only night mobs that spawn(by constantly teleporting the others below bedrock) and I’ve made it so that they don’t burn in the daytime(By putting non-visible vines on their heads that count as helmets). I’ve run into some issues after testing it and wanted to know if anyone could help with any of these.
The zombies may not burn, but after enough distance they despawn during the day and make it too safe. I want there to be some baseline level of danger even through the day. Do you guys know of a way I could make it harder for them to despawn, or allow them to spawn throughout the day?
Once we’re geared up, the zombies become much less of a threat. I’m wondering if I could have more of them spawn and in bigger groups sometimes to be more threatening, but I’m not sure how.
I also had a couple things that were more ideas rather than issues:
I’d love to make each encounter with a zombie something to worry about. I wanna make it so that upon being hit by one, there’s a small chance it’s a bite and that you’re now infected. We could inflict things like nausea, poison, and maybe at some point kill the player and spawn a zombie in their place. That would be awesome but I have no idea how to do it.
I’d love to use the zombies to make the world harder to survive in. Maybe I could make them attack certain animals and make them more scarce? They could also attack pillagers who would be like bandits. Then again, I don’t know if that’s even possible in bedrock, though I’m sure it is in Java.
Hey guys I’m going into second year and just wanted to know if you guys have anything to say about applying for internships. Are you guys just applying year round? Other than going to every networking event you can, what other advice do you guys have, places to start, etc?
Hey there, I’m making exactly what the title describes. I’ve already got it so that only zombies spawn as the hostile mobs of the night, and they don’t burn in the day either, but I find issues in that they will despawn quickly in the day time and in the day, they player can freely wander with little threat. I want to change this, maybe by having some small zombie spawn rate during the daytime as well. Can anyone help me figure this out?
This guy’s stats are absolutely broken. They’ve been constantly buffing his stats from ufc 4, to ufc 5, to ufc 6 as if he’s been fighting and been getting better for every game. His 100 Takedowns stat should be reserved for guys like GSP and Khamzat. Khabib’s takedowns are 100 only up against the fence, and his stats should reflect that. He was almost submitted by Dustin while Islam was never in any danger of a submission and yet his submission defence is way higher than Islams? He throws those other five star grapplers around in the game but that’s not realistic. If he’s gonna outgrapple someone like Charles or Islam or Arman, it should be with difficulty and risk, but Khabib’s stats are better than Khabib himself ever way irl, and Khabib was one of the best. Why is his bottom control better than Charles Oliveira? Do the stat creators even watch ufc?
They basically copy pasted his UFC 229 alter ego stats from the old game and forget there’s a reason they’re on the alter ego and not his main fighter, because they are purposefully OP to give players a funner version to use, as with all the other alter egos. They wanted to make this a game where other fighters other than the best few are viable, but if they don’t nerf him, he’s gonna be even more OP than Ilia.
I want to do fights like Volk and Islam vs each other and with the various lightweights but they are all in different weight classes and not at lightweight even though Islam had his whole career there and Volk had two title fights.
Does anyone know how much of a difference the weight advantage would make when I make those fights? Is there a certain percent I could tweak the damage to account for that?
Here’s a collection of the problems I noticed within just an hour of playing the trial
- The roster is probably half the size of the UFC 5 roster, tons of legends like BJ Penn, Anthony Pettis, Demian Maia, are all gone without a trace. They probably wanna sell those fighters back to us for like $10 each later on
- Inaccurate stats, certain fighters like Conor and Khabib have absolutely broken stats that just don’t realistically represent how they were even in their primes. Those two have more maxed out stats than they have non-maxed out stats. On the flip side, current fighters like Charles, Paddy and others have been nerfed into oblivion. You gonna tell me Sean Strickland has better takedowns than Charles? It’s like people who don’t even watch UFC made these stats
- Certain fighters like Islam, Conor, Poatan and way more aren’t even available in their original weight classes. I literally can’t do a lightweight fight with our former champ
I’m probably gonna update this if I find more problems, but so far this is ridiculous. The graphics and animations aren’t good enough to justify this freak show over UFC 5. I’m probably not buying the full game if I’m being honest, EA has gotten too used to giving us slop and expecting us to pay for it
I’ve been checking every spot in the store for over a month and it’s never there. I’m pretty sure EA has stopped rotating items in the shop now that UFC 6 is coming out so I don’t think it’s coming back there. I was really hoping to get this one very very specific alter ego and I wanna know if there’s any way of getting it. Maybe there’s some code I could buy and redeem online, or maybe I could buy the account of someone who has it? I just got UFC 5 like a month ago and I don’t plan on buying UFC 6 right away either. I tried using the EA help desk but it’s just some call center guys who use chatgpt and don’t know anything about the game. Is there anything I can do here?
