So i have a claim open with progressive in which i was determined at fault and the police report says that I admitted running the red light. I think i fumbled and made a huge mistake.I was panicking and I didn't know what i saying.

The issue now is that progressive is saying that the opposite party has 2 years to make a claim on me. My current insurance rate is 188$ for basic state liability in the state of texas and I am under 25 years old. What can I do to just close the case and probably my insurance doesn't go up. Please help me. Im having sleepless nights.
