Why is it so hard for people to maintain a conversation here?
It’s honestly disappointing how things work here. Most people talk to you for two or three days, seem genuinely interested in having a conversation and then suddenly disappear without any explanation. What I find even more confusing is that they accept your request first, start talking normally and then randomly ghost you. I’m not expecting anyone to talk constantly or become close friends but a little consistency or basic communication would be nice. If you’re not interested in talking, that’s completely fine—there’s nothing wrong with saying so. I just genuinely don’t understand why people put in the effort to connect and then suddenly disappear.
