As far as I understand, conviction can only be applied to a monster (eg uber meph) when it is a higher level than the one used by that monster, thus infinity has no effect on uber meph.
Does anyone know if the same applies to thorns?
ie can you counter thorns aura on heralds by equipping an Edge or Bramble runeword on your merc? Just curious, and sick of dying whenever thorns heralds spawn.
Playing around on maxroll with my static field warlock build, and turns out if you max out everything you can, you can achieve -179%enemy lightning resist.
This is enough to reduce Uber Meph's lightning resist to -92% (with LR wand), and i'm *fairly* sure that defilers do splash this damage.
This would therefore mean that a single cast of static from crescent moon would do 48% of uber meph's HP pool, and splash 52% of baal and diablo's HP as well onto meph, meaning (if i am right) that you could 1 hit KO all 3 of them.

Curious if this might help some builds, as currently bind demon by itself is still the way to go.

As per title, just curious if lld casters are actually a thing or not. Found a couple of decnt caster rings with low level thanks to sub20 life rolls, but I've never really heard of lld casters being any good. pix for attention lol
