Why can't the tracks be placed apart so that the sidewalks can be used as boarding platforms? Wouldn't this eliminate the "look right for traffic", and also make priority lanes much easier to implement/keep car traffic flowing? The only issue I can think of would be right turns since the turn radius might be too small.
I just finished second year of engineering and I had gotten OSAP. Back when I applied I selected “entering year 2 - study term” for program selection. My question is if I register my summer co-op:
will I be eligible for OSAP during the co-op term (to cover the co-op fee)
if it’s possible and not too late how would I go about doing that (since right now my OSAP goes up until April)
I don’t think I’ll register my co-op term if I don’t get OSAP so are there any implications if I do that?
Why don’t we have level boarding or at least higher platforms at Union? Since there aren’t any freight trains running through the platforms, surely there shouldn’t be an issue right?
We're renovating our kitchen and have the freedom to move things around, including the sink and appliances. I wanted to include an in-kitchen dining area but it seems like there won't be room since it would be in front of the patio door. The best solution I've come up with given this is an L shape with an island. Any ideas on how to fit a small-in kitchen dining space, or any suggestions for an alternate layout shape? Thanks!
