How work friendly is this campus? As a fulltime working adult and part time student, I wonder how the nights or weekend availability is. My major is sociology. Transfering in the fall.
The market is so so dry, so here are some tips that Ii think helped me.
- I had to tailor my resume and cover letter for each role. (Time consuming)
- I ended up applying on the company website. Pretty much if the role was posted on indeed going to the website and applying directly vs on indeed.
- because of the time consuming resume edits i was super selective to only jobs that match my skills
- use volunteer work if no experience and apply even if you dont have the full education requirements. I landed a job wanting a BA but my AA and job experience was enough.
Hope these help because it is so hard out there.
Hey guys, anyone know where we can re-sell a book? I bought the hardcover book for Anatomy and the leaflet Atlas for this past semester but ended up not using them because the professor gave us digital copies for free. Wonder if anyone knows of a spot to sell books? I know there used to be one near campus but not sure if it relocated or closed down...

I work as a case worker and typically there have always been so many jobs and opportunities. Right now my agency is pending a contract renewal for our funding so i like to be ready for the worst case scenario, of it not being renewed. But man i get like one or two options and then gives me options far beyond my range even with filters.
hi all, planning to apply in fall as a transfer to the sociology program. Any tips and pointers for admission?
