Thankfully James was never a grifter.
Unlike some of his colleagues, James is still able to remain popular without pandering to either side of political extremes. he’s there to make gaming and movie content and that’s exactly what he does.

Considering he already has some interesting thoughts about the modern film industry with the marvel talk, it would be interesting to hear his thoughts on the popularity of the Terrifier films, since they are also becoming more popular. I know it’s a different genre than marvel, but it’s still a new and popular trend of movies.
I was wondering if anyone remembers it. It’s a pretty funny and insane video.
To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with loving a movie strictly out of nostalgia. It’s still a valid reason to like a movie. I’m just wondering what specific movies you think fit this category among the common people.
A lot of people have said that the AVGN show has changed over the years and therefore it’s gotten bad. But I think the opposite might be true instead. AVGN has stayed SO much the same that it seems people are starting to grow out of it.
So maybe to improve the show, James should start moving on to the 2000s era of retro gaming(which he did do in the newest episode)and evolve the humor to more witty rather than the same toilet humor we’ve seen for 20 years. I should make it clear that this is in no way trying to attack James or any of his crew members personally, they seem like great people. This is just some constructive criticism.
If you didn’t know, Bill Hader voiced the main character in a kids movie called Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Now that most of the kids who grew up with cloudy with a chance of meatballs are adults, Imagine their reaction to Barry being like: “oh shit, this character that sounds like the innocent character from my childhood, is a brutal killer!”
I Had an interesting thought: what if glen Lantz was the one who had fought Freddy in the first, third, and final movie And Nancy was the one who didn’t survive the first movie. Just to be clear, I think Nancy is the better character, but it’s just fun to think about how Johnny depp’s career would have benefited from starring in more elm street movies
He is now older than the two stars of the movies that were turned into games when he reviewed them: Ralph Macchio from karate kid and Michael j fox from back to the future.
Which episode do you think James really nailed the anger and comedy of the nerd the best? In other words, which episode has the best acting from James?
It seems like most people agree that it’s one of the best Dr. Seuss movies ever made. Although that may not be a high bar considering the other Dr. Seuss movies. I personally think it’s a prime example of how to do a Dr. Seuss movie correctly.
I personally want him to review the movie Coraline, considering he’s a big horror fan.
