when searching online about how double jaw surgery helps with breathing through nose and etcetera i see positive results but i wanna hear about the people who have been through double jaw surgery and all their breathing problems and how double jaw surgery helped them or worsen their breathing
i have a very narrow palate and my ortho told me i need djs (bsso and lefort 1) since i have a class 2 malocclusion, i asked my ortho why she didn’t give me an expander b4 i got braces because i asked her why i can’t get it now and she mentioned something my the bigger problem being my lower jaw and that the expander is too late i needed it in my puberty phase so i asked why i didn’t get it beginning of braces since i would’ve been in puberty and i believe that she had no good reason as to why she did that because her explanation to me was not good. my point is for the people who are researched about expander w djs or have had it, when’s the best time to get it or how did u go through djs with a narrow palate/ what should i expect??
skeletal overbite/ class II malocclusion and have been told that i need lefort 1 and bsso but thats just a rough idea nothing straight from surgeon. what are everything i should know and how insurance will work with it even though it is for medical reasons and etc. please let me know EVERYRHING needed to know !! thank uu
