To those who don't know: dm8.in is a map of gated communities in a city. You can discover gated projects around you using this tool.

Now I've added a feature that helps you see all projects, schools, malls, hospitals, techparks etc in an area by just selecting that area.

Users can also see the same through the 'explore area' button in each property card.

But I though having such a 'click & draw' feature would make it easier to use. What do you think?

We have now integrated Air quality heatmaps into dm8.in

You can now view PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, CO, ozone, temperature, and humidity heatmaps for different Indian cities.

So while searching for gated homes on dm8, you can also understand how air quality varies across different parts of the city and make better housing decisions based on that data.

Seen this in many apartments. The outdoor AC unit is mounted outside on wall brackets, often at dangerous heights with no proper access.

Servicing them is very risky. The technician, builder and the homeowner know this.

But the technician can’t really afford to say no, so the job somehow gets done, and we quietly let it happen.

At some point, you really have to ask… what are we valuing more, human life or a few extra square feet?
