Vent TRIGGER WARNING neglect and abuse
I'm am venting. I am an ex foster kid, and I got my files.
I knew my childhood was rough, but god. I never realized it was too that extant. There was more stuff that I haven't screenshot. I feel bad even writing this here because i know there are people who've been through so much more. I was lucky I've got a great foster parent. But others in my family weren't so lucky, and I feel guilty even though it was out of my control.

The files were discussing the mould, the smell of urine, dog feces, food on the floor, not much edible food in the house, mum doing drugs, we were unsupervised outside on the streets at times with no clothes on, clothes not fitting and clothes stunk, mum would scream and yell in our faces. Nappies everywhere, rubbish everywhere, surfaces were sticky, broken doors, broken glass, holes in the walls. There was domestic violence. My older brother was violent (he is only about 18 months older than me). We behaved in an unexpected way (spitting, screaming, or kicking people). We had speech delays and development delays. We usually missed school, and us older kids would take care of the younger ones (well, me and my younger brother because our older brother had a disability and didn't have the understanding).
