Obsession (spoilers)

Ive just watched the movie and DAMN.

Since it was a blumhouse movie I knew it would be good but damn that wasn’t expecting to be like this. I was just bored and scrolling on the movies available in the nearby theater and saw this one. Watched the trailer seemed interesting, good rating so yeah fuck it im in.

The whole movie was just overwhelming. The gory scenes, the continuous jump scares and the psychological horror was just perfect. The theater was almost full and everyone kept reacting throughout the whole movie.

Nikki gradually going from confused and having a split personality to going completely nuts was perfectly executed, the actors did an amazing job. This is one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a while and the ending was just perfect. Beer realising he has no choice other than kill himself, tries the gun but couldn’t pull the trigger so he goes to where it all started, the damn pills that killed his cat, as he waits for his demise and you see him snap, the movie didn’t have to spell it out, just the look on his face and creepy music followed by the noise of wood snapping tells you what happened, Nikki used her wish to make bear fall madly in love with her just like he did to her. Its so good it actually makes you forget that he took a whole bottle of pills so when the overdose kicks in, it gives you yet another shock.

The movie is just perfect. And I think it will have sequels just like SMILE did, where every movie takes place in a whole new place with new people and the only common point is the one wish willow pack. Someone else will buy one and make a wish that he’ll regret. Maybe Nikki would make a cameo where we see her in a mental institute where she’s been put after she lost her mind because of the deaths of her friends and no one believes her story about some magical piece of wood that grants you any wish you want.

Anyway 10/10 movie, what did you guys think of it and would you want to see a sequel?

Live action special : The legendary bird case

I’m a big fan of the live actions that DC got in the past few years I loved them all except the school trip one, idk why but it just felt off for me, the case the events and the plot just seems like it could have been better.

My favourite live action would always be the legendary bird murder case special. Sonoko invites ran, shinichi and eri to visit a wealthy friend of her father’s villa named wakura in the jugoya village or also named the village of the legendary Otori, where a festival will take place that only happens every 300 years. Upon their arrival mysterious events occur and impossible murders are committed by a mysterious masked killer. Everything seems to be related to an old legend that haunts the village and seem to be following the wakura family killing off its members one by one.

.>!The case is actually great, the trick used is ingenious using the laws of physics to commit a seemingly impossible murder.!<

.>!Tho it has a flaw. How could the killer be certain that the victims would land perfectly on the sharp edges of the statue? Hell how could he be sure they’d even land on the statue itself and not just fly off in the air and then land back on the ground, dead or maybe just with serious injuries? Also, how could he take so much risk during the first murder to kill in a room full of people? They just conveniently were all looking away when the murder device went off sending a man into the air? Also how come he didn’t scream or make any noise when he was launched into the air? As far as we see he wasn’t dead until he landed on the statue so it gave him few seconds where he could just scream or make a noise as he’s propelled into the air.!<

Haven’t seen many posts here about these live actions. For those who have seen them, what were your thoughts about them?
