Car seat for long haul flight?

Can anyone recommend a seat for a 14 month old for long haul flight, Dub to Oz? I am seeing ranges from €59.99 to €399.99 so a steer would be appreciated!

Can't imagine we'll use it more that this one time.

(Too big for bassinet, happy to purchase the seat).

FTM's how we doing?

edit to add FTP''s!

Wondering how everyone's getting on? Not complaining below (was complaining/losing my mind up to about 3 months) just seeing if anyone is in the same boat with any of this?

I'm just leaning into it and going with her flow tbh.

Daughter, 5 months, combi fed, co sleeping.

No daytime schedule as such but roughly up 7.30am, nap around 10am (could be 20 mins could be an hour), rest of the day she will only sleep if out walking in the pram.

Started out - colic, and could not be out of someone's arms at any point day or night. ROARING.

First few hours of the day are golden. Happy girl full of joy. Last few hours of the day are witchy woo.

Loves the bath. Has started hating getting dressed...

Takes about an hour to get her to sleep, on the boob, then she wakes after like 20 mins and try again and again ... and I kinda just go to bed with her. Opened the monitor I bought months ago the other day so who knows, it might be used some time!

Wakes every 2 hrs or so.

The laughs etc are just pure magic. I cannot deal with the love sometimes

Anyone nervous about starting solids? My friends fella had a peanut and sesame allergy, been a disaster for her :/

Don't feel like the months have flown by but feel mad that the end of BF could be on the horizon.

Anyway that's my diary entry for today. Love to hear yours!! 😂

How do you like your eggs in the morning?

Hope you all have a glorious day with Dean Martin stuck in your head.

Looking for some tips on egg ordering etiquette.. do people ask for eggs cooked a certain way, and if they do, are there eye rolls?

I'd love nothing more than a poached egg outside my house but I hate the way they're always so runny .. no idea if it's the done thing to ask for eggs a certain way or whether it makes ya look like an eejit. Will be southside Dublin brunchtime. Thanks :)

Parents! Any play pen suggestions?

Are there any play pens that are not ginormous (apartment), aesthetically pleasing and easy put up and down when needed? Suggestions please! Baby is only 5 months but rolling all over the place and getting very far 😅
