So why are you here?

So why are you in amino reminder if you don't like people trying to find amino alternatives and missing amino? I just keep getting people commenting on my post only to delete it saying how I'm mentally ill how I'm sick and how I need to go outside and touch grass. Then why are you here if you don't want people talking about amino and feeling sad. Like yeah its been a while since amino was gone. But some people liked it and some people needed to have a routine in which amino gave them and now they are just trying to find a new routine. Like for me I like to post. I like to write and I'm just trying to find a community to do it.

Acid app community

So, I'm gonna say I found this app. Low key reminds me of amino. I just made a post. The app lets you make a post , change the color of text, and add images in each section so the image can change when scrolling which is really cool. You can move sections easily, and change the background color to the posts. Idk I saw it and thought it has potential it's still new so there are some things that might be fixed like adding tags. Maybe there is. You can create your community, your own stuff. Just something to check out if you want something like amino. ( Note you can also do wikis ) Also if you tried it what do you think?

New to tumbler, but can you post this?

So I'm new and honestly looking for a new place since the amino app died a while back. Things I want to post are OCs, writings and roleplay. ( I also want to post recipes/food, Bible study/verses, life and art/my sewing projects but on another account) But they are super long. Is there a character limit? Or can I just use Google docs?

Honestly this stuff reminds me of amino wikis lol

So I’ve been messing around with Blogger themes for a writing/archive blog and found one that honestly gives me old wiki/Amino vibes.

It has different layouts/styles, but one thing I really liked is that you can organize posts by recents, dates, and labels/tags like OCs, lores, writing, poetry, etc. When you click on something, it cleanly shows the post title, and some layouts even let you display posts like polaroid photos with captions underneath. It reminded me a lot of how people used aesthetic wiki folders and profiles back on Amino.

You can also customize backgrounds, images, font colors, and overall vibe pretty easily, which surprised me because I always thought Blogger was super outdated.

The only downside is it only lets me upload one image at a time for previews in this layout, but honestly the organization system and aesthetic make up for it.

Not advertising it or anything, I just genuinely didn’t expect Blogger themes to feel this customizable or nostalgic.

My Digital Commonplace Book Is Slowly Becoming My Favorite Thing I’ve Ever Made

So my Google Docs finally reached the point where everything became a complete mess again 😭

Apparently Docs starts struggling once you get close to 1 million characters, and my phone ran out of storage so badly that I couldn’t even make new documents anymore. I had way too many files, random notes, unfinished writing, screenshots, recipes, lore, life notes, and everything was just scattered everywhere.

So I started rebuilding everything differently instead of stuffing it all into giant docs.

I ended up using Blogger/Blogspot for it.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Blogger is just an old blogging site owned by Google. People normally use it for blogs, journals, reviews, fandom stuff, or posting writing online.

But I’ve been using it more like a digital commonplace book.

Basically just one giant organized space for everything I want to keep:

  • writings
  • original characters
  • worldbuilding
  • recipes
  • Bible studies
  • cleaning notes
  • home/self care
  • family care
  • random life notes
  • inspiration
  • literally whatever I want

What I like is that I can label and organize everything instead of having hundreds of random documents buried in Google Drive. I can separate things into categories, make pages, customize layouts, and slowly make it look how I want.

I’m not even posting things right away either. I’m mostly taking my time organizing everything and making it feel comfortable to come back to later.

And honestly, it feels nicer than social media.

It’s technically public, but unless someone actually knows the blog exists or understands how Blogspot works, it kind of just sits quietly on the internet. So it feels more personal and calm.

I know this probably sounds really nerdy, but I genuinely get excited seeing everything slowly come together :3
