This is Absolutely not Ok
I have seen some discussions and doomposting about this episode that have me a little frustrated. I just want to remind everyone that this show is an exploration of ALL of Lara's relationships and her figuring out what love means. And this will also include Luca as well! We knew from early on that the prince's reincarnation would be a part of the story and he would be playing a role.
No that doesn't mean this story is yuri bait or that they were only just teasing us with Lara/ Mari. Ultimately there's a lot to tell me that they will be endgame. However there will be a journey to get there as Lara figures out what love truly means to her.
The way a chunk of fans have reacted has me frustrated though. I've seen so much doomposting online on places like twitter about how they're "baiting" yuri or how they're disrespecting fans. We've only just crossed a little more than halfway into the show guys!! let them tell their story. What's even worse, I just want you to be aware that there are certain people (I think it's likely toxic Chinese fans- I've seen this happen before where they create twitter profiles with little to no followers just to harass staff of the show) who're personally sending hate messages to the staff on twitter. I've included examples below of one such profile I have found. This is absolutely not ok!!
This is disgusting behavior and should not be tolerated. I just wanted to make this post to call out this sort of behavior and also urge certain fans to have some calm. Let the staff tell the story they want to! There's nothing wrong if you have issues with an episode but don't jump the gun on certain conclusions. And definitely at the end of the day, do not harass the staff!!
