Inspiration gone AWOL

Hi lovely people.

All creativity and inspiration have vanished. I've put this baby together and can't get past staring at it.

How on earth can I quilt this? Hand or machone? Diagonal - no. Rounded/curves - don't think so. That leaves me with straight lines, in the ditch, near the ditch... has anyone got any ideas that can get me past my blockage??
