Bus seat etiquette

Is it expected to give up your seat so a group can sit down together, if they don’t otherwise meet the typical characteristics of someone you’re supposed to get up for (elderly, disabled, pregnant, etc.)?

For example you’re seated on an otherwise empty row of three seats, a group of three gets on and two of them plop down on the two unoccupied seats next to you.

Edited to add context: it’s not something that had ever occurred to me before but the “expectant” body language of the group I encountered on the bus this morning made me wonder. All four of us appeared to be around the same age/gender, if that affects things. There were no other empty seats other than the ones in front reserved for those who need them.

MuniMobile app day passes

Does anyone know if previously purchased day passes in the app will be unusable on 8/1, or just no longer available to buy? The expiration date for use is 8/27.

Pikes Peak Cog Railway Seating

So my understanding is that the three seat side has better views - but does where you’re sitting matter beyond that? First vs second car, front vs back of car, facing uphill vs downhill?

Best non-solo/guided destinations?

I know people usually have the opposite question, lol.

I’ve done both solo, DIY trips and traveled with guided tour groups. Someone I’d like to go on a trip with prefers the latter.

Can anyone suggest places that are more difficult (logistics, safety concerns, just the stuff to do there being more fun with other people) to visit alone and make the most sense to experience as part of a group?

We have 2-3 weeks in September/October and no physical restrictions. Would be traveling from the West Coast of the US.

DIA to Manitou Springs drive

I’m scheduled to land in Denver at 11 PM on a Thursday and need to be in Manitou Springs the following morning. Would it make more sense to make the drive right away, or pick up the rental car and stay over near the airport/part of the way? If it’s the latter, where?

19th Avenue Closure 5/23

I need to drop someone off at SFO Saturday morning for a 11:30 AM flight, coming from the Outer Richmond. Any thoughts on how early I should leave/best alternate route? Sunset Blvd or drive downtown and take 101?
