Started casting my mind ahead to 1st service today, looked in the glovebox, and discovered there’s no maintenance record book? I assume this is a mistake, rather than that there’s some magical e-system?
I know there's always been plenty of discussion about 'magical rules' etc, but what about a bit of real world maths. At the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire, we're told that the four house tables have been replaced by about 100 tables, each seating 12 people. Surely this is way too many seats?!
If we take as a guide that there are 5 males in Harry's year (Harry, Ron, Neville, Dean & Seamus), and we double this for gender, and multiply by 4 for the houses, that's 40 students in a year. Multiplying by 7 for all the years in the school, that would be a total student population of 280. Even if we randomly double that (in case this is an unusually small year) and allow for visitors from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, we're still falling a way short of 1,200!
One possible explanation is that there are more than 5 males in Harry's year, in another dormitory?
I'd be interested to know if anybody has picked up on any other references in this area, or has alternative suggestions!
Hi, I think this is since 26.4.2, but whenever I try to put screen time passcode in I can only get a ridiculously tiny floating keyboard, and there doesn’t seem to be any way of changing it! Have obviously tried two-finger dragging, and I think everything else the internet/AI has suggested. Has anybody else experienced this and have any ideas? 🙂
