Status of Assistant professor jobs in India through state PSCs?

Myquals: BA(hons) in philosophy from DU. I am currently pursuing MA in philosophy from IGNOU and will join a regular university for MA in philosophy only, this year. Last year I couldn't get my dream college, so pursued through IGNOU. I will attempt net jrf exam in December this year and will try to get a job of assistant professor through state PSCs exams after my MA.

What are the problems, struggles and harsh reality of assistant professor jobs in India? Should I go for it considering I need a job asap? Please guide me on this.

I am not asking for central universities but for state Universities through state PSC exams. Please tell me about real problems and how should I go about it?

Since cuet pg result was declared few days ago, by when can we expect admission portal to open??

I am thinking of buying a test series. Testbook yearly pass costs Rs615. Oliveboard costs Rs.400 and testranking costs Rs99. Considering the effectiveness of tests among these three alongwith price point, which test series should I go with. Can test ranking be par with testbook and oliveboard? Plz give ur suggestions

I have filled my june 2026 exam centre in Delhi becoz at that time I had decided to move to Delhi by June. But the plan gets cancelled. My study centre is varanasi and I wanted to change my exam centre to Varanasi only. Can it be changed now? If yes, how? Plz help

I gave CUET PG this year, scored 204/300. I want to research in philosophy after my masters. which college is best for masters in philosophy, especially with focus on research in existentialist and modern philosophy. I am on borderline for JNU, so plz tell about colleges of DU or any other university. I am not considering BHU as of now.
