Drop two strangers who are romantically compatible with each other (i.e. a straight man and woman, or two gay men) in the middle of the wilderness and force them to work together to survive.

They still get a cash reward for surviving the longest to discourage them from just tapping out if they hate their partner.

The point is that they have to work together to survive, and in the process, they fall in love (cue the cheesy "aww"s).

When I have shaders enabled, this inevitably happens. It happens more quickly with heavy shaders (like Complementary, as shown in the video) but still happens even when using light shaderpacks (like Mellow or Miniature). As you can see in the video, I'm not using all of my available RAM. My game is also still running. I can hear music, ingame sounds, and as far as I know I'm still interacting with the world, it's just visually frozen. This doesn't stop after a certain amount of time, and the only way to fix it is with alt+f4. No crash reports to send. This also tends to happen more frequently right after tabbing into the game from another window. Does anyone know what might be causing this? (Version 26.2, though this has happened in 26.1 and 1.21.11 as well)
