Lavender Coparenting?

The idea essentially is sort of coparenting with one wlw couple and one mlm couple. Maybe not even true coparenting (every other week type coparenting) but like have kids together (biological siblings) and then raise them as cousins/family?

I can see a lot of potential issues with this but it also seems like it would be a great way for the kids to get to experience having a mom/dad combo and like a mutually beneficial sperm donation/suragacy situation with built in “family” support while raising the kids.

Has anyone done something like this? What’s your review?

Dumb but not that dumb flip phone rec?

Looking for a phone that can support WhatsApp/signal as I use those daily, maybe some Google Maps, MP3, and an ok camera but isn’t just a weirdly shaped smartphone.

Also, I’m looking to get something that I can switch the SIM card between my smart phone and fliphone so I don’t have to juggle 2 phone numbers or plans. Does anyone know how/if that’s seamless for stuff like text messages or WhatsApp/signal?

How to eat with someone who has PMOS?

My wife was recently diagnosed and is still working through getting medication and additional testing done. I’ve looked into all the supplements and other stuff I can do to support her.

When we first met she was basically keto (which looking back was managing her symptoms pretty well). However, I would just eat whatever she was having and lost an unhealthy amount of weight. Due to some other lifestyle factors, she stopped the keto-adjacent diet but is looking back into it with her diagnosis.

I guess my question is how do yall handle grocery shopping/cooking when one person is on a restrictive diet? Especially since it seems like there can be a downward carb spiral.

Anti-smart triathlon training watch?

I’m switching from an apple to a garmin as I’m getting more serious about training for a triathlon next year and I am sick of having a true smart watch. I love the training data, step tracking, etc but I don’t need to get every notification straight to my wrist or the other smartphone type watch features.

I’m looking mostly at the forerunners but am trying to figure out if the FR170 is more “smart” than the FR165? Will the FR165 being discontinued/unsupported mean I need to upgrade it in a year or two?

What’s your wearable stack?

I’m currently using an apple watch, but looking to move to a garmin as I’m getting serious about an upcoming marathon and am looking for more in depth training data. However, garmin doesn’t seem to track the same “wellness” metrics. I’m thinking of pairing it with an oura ring. Does anyone use this stack?

Does anyone have stack recommendations? What’s your stack?
