ID old Tony Lama Gold Label

Trying to find out more information on these vintage Tony Lama boots. It sounds like the old size coding ended very early in 1970’s for TL, and I cannot find any online information about style 96102, 9610, etc.
No vintage catalogs, or magazine/newspaper ads either.
It also sounds like Justin no longer has records and won’t be much help.

The last and arch on these fit me amazingly.

Any information or suggestions on research are most appreciated.

Walnut differences

I had some Zephyr 2024 in Walnut Timberjack that were the usual tan/brown tone. I grabbed a Backcountry second hand (but new condition) that are more reddish tones. Both photos are in same lighting.

Is this just normal batch differences, or has it actually changed over time? Or was there an incorrect shipment for a time?
