These two in an arena to the death
Who wins? What they're doing you ask? Who knows.

Who wins? What they're doing you ask? Who knows.
While Monaca and the Warriors of Hope wanted to build a paradise for children by murdering all adults, Haiji took the peaceful approach to child development. By refusing to let the adults fight back for most of the game, he allowed the children to be free and express their creativity.
The reason he and the resisitance did nothing was to de-escalate the conflict ofc, this proves he was always looking for the bravest and most morally sound option.
When he DID decide to act using the big bang monokuma it was for the greater good you see. I mean yeah it would destroy the city and murder the kids but he being the Utilitarian he is decided to choose the greater good.
And lastly what all the larpers talk about. The thibg in the image. All I'll say is at least he's honest, he says it straight up and its admirable.
We should all be more like Haiji Towa!
People will claim Shuichi is a better detective not realising that he simply gets way more screen time and narrative coddling. He exists as a self insert who needs constant emotional reassurance to take a single step in problem solving. He stares at an obvious clue makes the connection and then flops around avoiding reality cause he feels bad. This is clearly an effort to cater to the player's ego and self righteousness.
Kyoko is better due to how independent she is and on top of that when she solves smth she actually lets you think for yourself instead of hand-holding you through every single detail! Plus she's just a far more mysterious and compelling character. Most of her detractors are usually just misogynists!
People will claim Kyoko is a better detective not realising that she simply has more presence in the series. She exists as a Dues Ex Machina that has no actual steps to her problem solving. She hears a single thing and infers like 50 other things and they're all correct somehow. This is clearly an effort to put down the male protag and take away his agency.
Shuichi is better due to how cooperative he is and on top of that when he solves smth he will carry u along instead of assuming you know it! Plus he's just a more interesting character. Most of his detractors are usually just misandrists!

A month ago some guy reviewed V3 on this sub and said it was bad. I did some further research and it turns out they're a V2 enjoyer. I swear V2 fans never shut up about their season. Rantaro wasn't even that good of a protagonist, let it go. Like they keep harping on the Korekiyo thing when their season had an implied cannibal.
Ok so what do I think of V3. It was phenomenal and really spoke to a minority in the fanbase. Killing games are immoral obviously so I like how it was addressed.
When the twink detective guy and the rest treated us like villains it was really engaging, much more than the cringe audience POV character they added for fanservice. (I asked Tsumugi she said this is what it was mostly for)
The way the 1st chapter's events echo into the final really lets you know they had this all planned, even though the producers clearly lost control in the later half. V2 for me was too focused on a few characters and left the rest to do nothing but be props; this season was far more dynamic.
Also, props to Team Danganronpa for not putting too many advertisements and no collabs this time. The Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart protag duo in S38 was so bad and killed the immersion completely. The 'content house' season was similar, Tiktokers dying isn't emotional cause who cares what happens to them.
Also can we not make 'survivor slop' a thing? Like yeah 90 percent of the time we have survivors, just because we do doesn't mean its slop automatically. This stupid word has resurfaced moatly due to V2 enjoyers.
Overall, solid 9/10 season. V2 supremists probably only larp the season anyway. Looking forward to Season 54.
Edit: To the V2 glazers in my DMs, your season was mid. Stop doxxing me.
Earlier I saw a post on the sub where someone was shaming people for liking this franchise. I tried to have a conversation with them but they sent death threats to me. I think I want to withdraw from this fandom it's too hard to deal with...
I was gonna add Angelica but she doesn't fit.
He outed a serial killer that was among them. I think the end goal justifies the means.
Yes he killed him cause of a trauma reaction but how much of that do we pin on him?
I like all 3 about the same rn so I want to know which one you're pulling for and why. I wont use it to decide but it may help me reach my final descision.
I was gonna save this one for tomorrow but I wanted to pair it with the Sayaka one.
How genuine do you think she was? Or was she just entirely fake?
So I've been watching Danganronpa since like season 34 and can I just say that this season sucked. It was building to smth interesting but genuinely wtf was that ending. The participants this season were too preachy and annoying especially the soyboy detective 'oh this is inhumane' or 'you're ruining lives', didn't they volunteer for this? Why are they complaining. If they REALLY wanted to leave then they should have won as a blackened or survived. Also the 'interactive experience' ended up being for nothing. The votes were lackluster and the worst thing is that one vote on whether to go for maintainance with miu or not, genuinely vile.
I mean the executions are still cool and I've collected all 137 monos so I'm not leaving yet. Hopefully the next installment in the series isn't another remake of the 2nd game. If you have any questions on the series so far I can answer them maybe. But not about Season 24 I hate that one.
The Danganronpa to felony pipeline is something that very much exists. Most Danganronpa fans end up felons behind bars and we as a society have to address it.
This series is CHOCK FULL of crimes and you know what that means? Yes people will naturally think it's cool and do them! Hell they made the blood pink to hand wave away the gruesomeness of death and make it all “omg pink blood is so K.A.W.A.I.I”. Sickening.
Fans of characters will justify their evil actions no matter what because “it’s all fiction”. I call bullshit.
Examples of the bad messaging:
Tax evasion:
Let's assume plot significance is tax here. An example of a good taxpayer would be Kaede, Rantaro, and Sayaka. They die early and STILL pay up their plot tax after death. They understand that contributing to the narrative economy is important.
Now compare this to criminals like Akane and Mahiru. They contribute basically NOTHING. Plot freeloaders. They evade their narrative obligations while hardworking citizens carry the franchise on their backs. And people LOVE them for it. Shameful!
Disrespect of authority figures:
Monokuma, whether you like it or not, is an authority figure. Yet dumbass degenerates like Kyoko and other fan favorites constantly defy and oppose him. What message does this send to children? That authority is evil and rules should be questioned? Disturbing.
Byakuya was morally correct actually:
This is the reason why Byakuya tying up Chihiro was morally correct actually. Chihiro failed to pay any plot tax because he’s criminal scum so Byakuya, as a responsible billionaire, doled out the appropriate punishment. Yet the fandom calls HIM “morally reprehensible.” Curious.
Murder:
This game actively conditions people to look forward to murder. Don’t deny it. You know you’ve said “I want him to die” or “I hope she dies next” before. Yes Jake I WAS THERE.
This therefore means you’d do it irl too! And even worse, the game REWARDS you for thinking like a criminal. The class trials literally train players to think like felons.
UDG:
[REDACTED]
Financial fraud:
All the authority figures in this series have committed financial fraud. Hope’s Peak scammed reserve course students for example. Do you seriously believe someone like Junko could afford all this legally? NO!
The Danganronpa Zero novels CLEARLY imply she was running a scam call centre. What, you think giant murder robots grow on trees? She used that dirty money to purchase evil contraptions and designer outfits.
And yet Junko fans continue to support financial crime culture. Shameful!
In conclusion, Kodaka (Level 100 mafia boss) has been grooming us into felons all along. Wake up people before it’s too late.
I'm drawing a blank on some of these
I find myself using extra classes a lot cause tbh their disadvantages aren't that bad. I rarely use dps casters, assassins or riders just cause of alter egos.
I've seen a lot of people dismiss Izuru for being a boring plot device who drags down the story by existing, I'm here to say that you're in fact wrong and shouldn't have rights anymore for thinking that.
First of all his existence is the best example to show how morally questionable hope's peak was, the school as a concept creates more room for negativity than positivity. Their obsession with talent is really interesting to me and I wish we had significant named characters that fully believed in hopes peak academy's shadier side.
Next is how he relates to Hajime. I see Hajime as a sort of small mirror to whatever the people on the kamakura project were thinking, his whole mindset of talent being the only way to matter specifically. I like how to get what ge desperately wants he basically has to give up everything else and effectively kill himself, I can't remember much of Hajime's backstory but I think his conflict is one of the most interesting in the series.
His existence itself was just interesting. Like how he's framed in the DR K novels. I wish they had set him up more but the current result is satisfactory.
His neutrality in the tragedy and hope vs despair as a whole was a good way to differentiate him from being completely evil.
Also his design is cool so fck u haters you're wrong.
I was about to sleep too.It was funny at first but cmon is this the peak of our humour as a fanbase guys?
