I 17F have a crush on Lizzie 16F, and idk what to do...

This is the first time I've had a crush on another girl, none of my friends or parents know so I don't even know how to approach this. Lizzie is so pretty and i cant help but think what it would be like to date her and i cant stop thinking about her at all- she's taken over my mind and every time i see her i feel the same when i see a cute boy. She's in a different year and friend group than me so idk how to approach her- I've spoken to her, like complimenting her hair and clothes but that's about it. Do I become friends with her first (IDK HOW TO DO THIS EITHER) then slowly hint a her or be straight up with her. PLEASE HELP!!
