Requesting time off as a part time employee

At the other store I worked at my CSM said any part timers couldn’t be denied time off as long as it was requested before the two week cut off. Well a full time employee was approved for the dates I need off july31-aug2 I was wondering if this is a real policy? If so were to find on Leo so I can show to my boss and get my time off. Btw I submitted this request months ago and somehow it go over looked.

Need help navigating friendship with someone with DS

There’s two identical sisters that shop at the store I work at with their mom. They’re both 22 and one has been asking for my number/to be friends for a couple months now. Today I finally broke and gave her my number. I don’t want to infantilize her. She’s a grown woman who’s probably just looking for friend ship and connection. I’m 28 f btw.

I’m looking for tips and advice for how to have a healthy relationship with her and set appropriate boundaries in the friendship.

Policy about turning back on tobacco items.

One of my cashiers turned their back on two cartons to grab two black and milds the customers requested. When the cashier turned around the customer snatched the cartons and walked out. Where in the CBTS or SPTA does it talk about not leaving items like that unattended?

Ulta keeps d*cking me around in regards to a refund.

Unfortunately I don’t have any screen shots. But I received two foundations with the caps off and leaked on the other products in the bag. I’ve seen really bad things about ulta customer service. This is my third time having an issue and needing a refund or replacement. The first two times i choose the option of replacement. This time i choose refund. The products are usable but definitely not in the state they should have come in.

Anyways I reached out and the online agent offered refund or replacement. I choose refund. She said okay it would take 24-48 hours and I would receive an email. Well it’s been over a week. I’ve reached out multiple times and have tried to be understanding over the long weekend in America. But when I reach out they don’t give me any updates. Just that the escalation is still open and I will get an email. I did take and send pics during the original chat.

Does anyone have similar experiences or advice? So far my experience with ulta CS has been great until this time. And it’s not like I’m getting refunds all the time. This is only my third complaint in years of shopping with them.
