Protein eating plant based, how important is it?

I was plant based for 5 years and loved it, although I felt like I was lacking protein and was eating a lot more carbs than any other macro. I have noticed some physical body changes like more fat on my body and reduced muscle, although this could just be that I’m in my 30’s now (I’m a female).

How important do you find protein? Is it more important to eat a diverse amount of plant foods and foods with a good amino acid profile vs worrying about the protein amount? Any in here that has been working out and is successfully toning your body and losing fat eating this way?

[TOMT] old YouTube Video, around 2006-2008

I remember watching this video with my dad of this gamer woman in the car. She was calling someone out for something that happened on the computer game she played. She was mad and angry but as the viewer, it was funny. She was cussing and threatening the person and then got out of the car and did some karate moves, showing what was going to do to the person. She was serious but it was just so funny. So many YouTube videos got removed but I just wish I could find this!!

Stuck with what team to choose!

I signed up for discounted month to get back into the groove of strength training and I’m just struggling with what team is best for me. For the last few weeks, I’ve been on team Endure with Jennifer and I really like her workouts and cues, but I’m finding the workouts SO repetitive. It seems the same week to week. Is this normal? Maybe it’s like this with every team, I’m not sure. I do like how the videos are only 30 minutes though

For reference, I’m a petite female who doesn’t need to lose weight, just build a little lean muscle and shed extra fat (I more so have that skinny fat look)

In the past I’ve done consistent yoga and leaned out a bit and liked how I looked and I felt strong, but I’m really wanting to get into strength training and body recomp, without anything intense but I do want to be challenged. I also like Pilates so I was thinking about Flourish. Any suggestions are helpful!
