




Standalone Landing Pad to T5 factory. Needs no external water, no external resources. Just needs power.
So there was another thread today where someone was trying to work out how to get an air unit to pick up a vault to transport resources to a unit factory elsewhere on the map.
I thought this was a better solution and said I would share it here, so here it is.
In 3 modules so its slightly more flexible on available space.
Needs no external water, no additional resources, no flare or other unit support.
Module 1
Pad to tier 3
Just place it where you have space, needs no water, just requires power.
The schematic is set with a ground unit factory, but it supports air and navy too.
Just swap the tier 1 factory for the one you want.
The pad is logic controlled and will cycle through the required resources, if they hit a storage threshold it will stop collecting that resource and concentrate on the higher used resources like silicon. If the storage threshold drops, it will request more.
It turns out T3 units at a fair pace.
Module 2
Tier 4 and 5
Also requires no water, just power. It creates all the cryofuid required
Place it down so it connects to the top of module 1
Module 3
The landing pad and logic that feeds module 2
Place it anywhere around module 2 where there is space, taking care to place it inside the range of the logic processor.
Connect the logic processor to the vault that is in module 2
It uses the same logic as module 1, its ready to go, no need to configure it
Give power.
Remember to use command mode to set a rally point away from the exit to the T5 reconstructor. Once you get a couple of octopods standing in the exit they can block it
Go away and do other stuff, come back, collect the T5 octopods and go and wreck stuff.

Im not an expert coder so you probably could have made some neater code
Im not an expert schematic designer and you could probably have made a slightly more efficiant schematic, but there are some solid reasons why its coded the way it is.
But damn this just works pretty well
