Hello! We have a 6 week old that hasn’t slept longer than 2 hours since birth and we are struggling. We are looking to hire a night nurse and are interested in hearing experiences with Let Mommy Sleep or other night nanny/nurse/doulas. Please let us know your thoughts or other recommendations.
Looking for coffee shop recommendations that are cozy and easy-ish with a 4 week old!
Going loco on maternity leave sitting at home all day, so I’m planning to work my way through a list of coffee shops and lunch spots around town with the little guy in tow. I’m looking for places with cozy seating, quiet corners, yummy food/coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere where I could sit with a baby and/or breastfeed (with a cover) if needed.
Bonus points for:
Easy parking
Sunshine! Good natural light or outdoor areas!
Not overly crowded or loud
Comfortable seating (couches, armchairs, booths, etc.)
I’m also open to cafes, bakeries, bookstores, or other cozy spots that would be baby-friendly. For reference, I am looking for the opposite vibe of La La Land lol.
Open to all areas of Austin, and also interested in any cozy spots in other towns like Fredericksburg, Wimberley, etc for when we’re feeling more adventurous.
