My water pump timing chain turned into a pretzel knot. Anyone tasted one of these before or know how to untangle one?

My water pump timing chain turned into a pretzel knot. Anyone tasted one of these before or know how to untangle one? I heard they are tasty with oil.

Seriously though, good thing for my sister in law's Chevy Equinox it was not the cam shaft timing chain. Otherwise, we would be talking about valve and roller cam explosions.

Q15: "They have committed to wear their lives out in the service of God, and they do so."

I am not sure how to process this article. Does not seem like a healthy retirement. Now we have an explanation why Dale G. Renlund looks to have aged 50 years within 1 year of his service. Not sure who approved this article...it is not something to be proud of.

The only thing I keep thinking is the Behavior Control from the BITE cult model: Regulating an individual's physical reality, dictating where they live, what they wear, how they eat, and enforcing strict schedules or rules.

If you don't have time to read the article this is a good summary and segment from the article:

"With these Church leaders running on only a few hours of sleep, it might seem like a long flight would be a good time to catch up. But these leaders — including General Authority Seventies and organizational leaders of the Church — are awake. They write their next message. They review articles and photos and videos. They share observations from their ministries with other Church leaders. They respond to lengthy lists of emails and text messages. They share copies of the Book of Mormon with flight attendants."

"The late President Russell M. Nelson died at age 101. Church President Dallin H. Oaks is 93 years old. President Uchtdorf is 85 years old. Their age seems to be irrelevant at times. They have committed to wear their lives out in the service of God, and they do so."

Wish the article slipped up and said: "They (Q15) seem to be irrelevant at times."

My oil is low in my spark plug well, what line/ring do I fill it up to? Bottom, middle, or all the way to the top?

The oil is low in my spark plug well, what line/ring do I fill it up to? Bottom, middle, or all the way to the top?

Dumb responses only...

Context: I was doing some work on my sister in laws S40 Volvo she got for $2,000. She came to our house to show us her "new" car and after she left there was an insane pool of oil in our drive way.

I asked her if I could check it out and found the entire valve cover valley was filled with oil. I then figured I should check the spark plug life and if oil was down around the spark plug well. Original spark plugs at 158,000 miles and two had cracked ceramics.

Very surprised there was no engine fires.

Issue was the oil fill tube O-ring turned to hard as a rock and someone had tried their IQ by putting RTV around the O-ring to try and seal it. Looks like the previous owner was struggling with it as well.

A good $0.50 O-ring did the trick.
