Played "The Gym" for some hours, still trying to figure it out but I have some information
I see some people calling the unlock rewards in "The Gym" mode as alter egos. They really aren't. For example, if you unlock any of Conor's kits, you just get modern Conor with the kit corresponding to that year. So you don't get 2016 Conor, you get current Conor with the fight kit that he wore in 2016. Even Jon Jones has a 2021 fight kit despite not fighting at all in 2021. Same goes for pretty much everyone... it's a cosmetic effect, not an alter ego. And the cosmetics you unlock in The Gym can NOT be used by your created fighter for... some fucking reason. None of this is really explained so I'll leave this up here for anyone wondering if this mode is worth their time or not
