Rationalizing Delilah's return in Dishonored 2

I just had a thought on why it might not be as bad that Delilah returns as the main antagonist even after being defeated in the dlc. This being one of the main criticisms of the game, while I agree, I think with the new hopes of Dishonored 3 on the far horizon we as a community should look for rationalizations we can live with so that the vibes and the world lore don't suffer lasting damage.

So here's my idea:

Daud went from killer => pacifist in dlc cannon if I understand correctly?

He regretted killing the empress and became a changed man, which is why Corvo spared his life.

BUT, he should have killed Delilah, meaning he went too far into the other extreme of staying his blade even on those who should bee put down just to protect others.

So she came back, and people suffered.

What do you guys think?
and I ask for no DOTO spoilers, I'm still playing it and don't know the story, I just know Daud is saved in mission 1.

Anyone know what this prop is? I found it in a chemistry lab.

In the Jindosh mission, very start of the level, first bloodfly infected apartment house on the left.

Is it like, samples between two pieces of glass for microscope use? +labels?

Just completed Part 1 with Alan and...

WHAT THE FUUUhhhh

Saga has CHAPTERS? SHES IN THE FAKE REALITY?
DOes that mean Alan's Dark Place/Mind Place is in the lake and walking around he's in a fractured broken remains of reality? or is all his part 1 shenanigans in dark place but like, that is still more real than wherever saga is? Does dark presence/lake that is not a lake/something make reality and fiction merge in a perverse way where real life loses it's sanctity and free will isn't pure anymore?

Dmn this game making my mind do backflips.

Ok, I'm off to play more now, and you guys go replay this GEM!

Who here plays the games on Iron mode?

Hey guys I haven't finished Dishonored 2 (late I know) but I've been playing it on Ironmode custom difficulty all cranked to hardest and having soooo much fun omg
All the youtube analysts waxing poetically about the chaos system and fun combat system clashing have got no idea how they merge beautifully when you stealth clean hands, but actually fight for your life (or your save-file rather).

The incentive for stealth and low chaos becomes not only out of morality, but self-preservation because one cannot die if one is not spotted (fall damage my nemesis aside (or below?)).

Never has a game teach and expose patience and lack-there-of so straightforwardly before.

So now I'm wondering, who else plays on iron mode? And how is your experience? any tips to make it more fun?

How do you enjoy the repetitivity of early levels?

(do I have to add a flair right? idk none really fit so I chose TIPS cuz this is my tip to you to try ironmode)
