The merciful ghost playthrough was really fun to do
Going for 100% on a new console so I started with the clean hands and ghost playthrough. Next up is the high chaos run

I hope they’re coping well like the rest of us 😭
Multiple mattresses, scattered clothes including two bras, fruits and wine, and a sleeping dart to top it all off. Not to mention that grim letter from the new Golden Cat madam(which I just noticed is a neat little set-up for the next mission)
The first time I saw this detail was on my very first playthrough actually and I immediately assumed that Campbell uses that place to lure women to sleeping with them and then putting them to sleep if they refused. And this was before I learned that he lures Curnow down there if we destroyed the two glasses (I poisoned Campbell on my first playthrough). That whole place is surprisingly well-kept for a secret chamber that connects to a small drainage system via ventilation. And it's adorned with all sorts of trinkets including the painting for some odd reason. I guess Campbell must've put them there as a way to distract or entertain the people he brings down there. It certainly worked for Curnow.
Anyway, this was one of the first grim details that I noticed when I first started the game and I wanted to talk about it on my second playthrough.
I just started Dishonored 1, and after waking up from talking to the Outsider, I went back over to Pierro’s shop to buy some more items. When walking in, I misclicked and accidentally killed him. Fortunately, I had an auto save from about a minute earlier so I immediately reloaded.
This made me wonder though, what would happen if you just kill Piero? Is his shop and the items he sells permanently inaccessible? I walked around and noticed that the “kill” prompt shows up behind almost every friendly NPC in the pub. I’m not that far in, but it seems like most of these guys are fairly important, and it’s interesting killing them is even an option. If anyone knows, I’d be very curious to how this affects the rest of the game.
He is by far my favorite artist. All of his art is just so unique and I love all of the games he worked on.
Half life 2, Dishonored 1, Wolfenstein new order, all of these games have such amazing world designs.
Im so sad that he will not be a part of any future Arkane projects, I feel like his art style is a huge part of Arkanes identity.
The franchise needs a third game. Microsoft has no honor, and won't allow gamers to enjoy a third game, because they care more about profits and they rather spend all their money on data centers when it's clear they've already lost the AI race. I hope Microsoft goes bankrupt and gets replaced by another company.
Please, please do a Dishonored 2 YouTube series. I cannot tell you how amazing the recent series that Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith did was. It not only opened up deep insights to the beloved game but also showed how much love and passion went into one of the best games ever. Please do the same for Dishonored 2, and dare I say, all the DLC. Thank you so much!!!
basically no hope at all huh?
Though we have a change in leadership, if what's here is true - MachineGames Studio Director becomes President of Arkane Studios
Hope it's just something to improve efficiency if they thought Blade is kinda stuck in a rut and not a merger of some sort that completely kills future imm-sim work on their part. That first new Wolfenstein was fine, but the next ones weren't amazing IMO, and that new Indiana Jones game was a babified cinematic adventure game same as the new 007 was.
It's the vitality artwork from the dishonored 1
new to this game and i cannot believe they did not see me. on very hard mode btw
When I purchase Dishonored on Steam I get the RHCP version because I'm living in one of those areas. Is it possible to have someone who lives outside of those to gift me the game so it shows up normally in my Steam account?
Recognizable but something's off
underrated mission imo. my favorite part of the first half of the game besides the opening sequence !
