Having the pistol out was a mistake…
It was a just a reflexive move, I swear!!
Day 10 of drawing Dishonored characters in my artstyle (bust of Granny Rags)
The only instance in which the lack of irises or pupils is actually canon-accurate rather than just a part of my artstyle lol. I think I made her look vaguely like Malory Archer by accident.
Tell me which character you think I should draw next
Be the unhinged killer the Grand Guard think you are ❤️
Grand palace too easy?
Does anyone else find The Grand palace too easy? I'm not a master at this game by any means, but once you get to the palace itself the mission will be over in like 5 mins or less. I end up basically gliding into the duke's room with blink/far reach and then dropping down into the vault and then strolling out to the dock. I think there's almost too many entrances, maybe it's made much easier by being able to get too the roof quickly with blink. If I want it to contain any challenge at all I have to self impose rules. It's a shame because it has the potential to be one of the best levels with a few tweaks.
What are your favorite moments from the games?
It can be memorable cutscenes, in-game events, whatever. What are your favorite moments in the Dishonored franchise?
Slightly disappointed with how easy the Delilah fight was.
Just wrapped up my first time play through, where I opted for Emily. In games like these, I always look for the high-ground advantage. After I planted the corrupt bone charm on the throne and entered Delilah's painting, I crept around the periphery to the right, double-jumped and Far Reached to get on top of the pillar, turned around from where she was seated on her throne to get a better vantage point, and saw the real Delilah floating above where we entered. One crossbow bolt, and she was done for. I mean...I get you're supposed to be deceived by the mimic in the throne, and it was just dumb luck I took the route I did and saw what I saw, but one crossbow bolt??? C'monnn... I geared up for that final fight for nothing!
Favorite parts of the game: The Clockwork Mansion had an absolutely incredible level design. Pulling the room's transformation levers, sneaking behind the walls and actually seeing all the moving mechanisms and staged room sections...the ingenuity of the game designers really shined there! The time-shift capability in A Crack in the Slab was initially puzzling, but then really fun to play with once I figured out how to escaped the first room. Having to scour two versions of an already gigantic mansion did get a little tedious, but I love scrounging for hidden loot. Being able to craft custom bone-charms and runes was a nice feature as well. The amount of verticality and alternate paths through all the levels made finding them as rewarding as cracking a safe full of gold bars.
Things I wish they improved on: The variety of enemies was lackluster: humans or witches, hounds or gravehounds, and mechanical soldiers. I don't really count the bloodflies, bloodbriars, or hagfish, they were mildly annoying at best. Half of Emily's powers didn't match my play style, I'll definitely play as Corvo in my next game. Lastly, the three-number safe combos are too easy to brute-force, but I liked how the combos were hidden in journals or notes, behind a painting, or in a picture hung on the wall.
Playing through this game for the first time was a lot of fun! I beat the first game 3 times, I can definitely see future replays of this one, especially with the NG+ feature. Now off to start Death of the Outsider.
If you had to pick one mission from any of the games that perfectly summarized the Dishonored series, which mission would you choose?
Raf Colantonio's message to immersive sim fans.
"Hello, fans of the immersive sims.
I have seen so much love for Prey and Dishonored lately on X that it made me want to play the original Dishonored. It has been almost 14 years that I haven't played this game. And as I'm playing it, I'm recording, there's gonna be maybe about 10 episodes. I'll release them pretty soon. I've invited the original team, and so together we're having a lot of fun commemorating all those moments of… some of it was pain, and some of it was fun.
The point is, I was thinking, I've seen so much nostalgia, so many questions online about will we ever see games like this again, sequels? And the thing is, I don't know about sequels. This is not in my hands. But if you look at those games, like Prey or Dishonored, they're not the same game but they share a spirit, they share a DNA. And what I can assure you is that whatever Arkane is working on is probably gonna be sharing some of the DNA, whatever we at WolfEye are working on, we'll probably share some of that DNA, and same for Harvey Smith with his new team.
So my point is, the fans should rejoice, because the spirit goes on. And you will see more games in that vein."
Nearly every Karnaca NPC + 3 oil tanks = absolute chaos
Im finally done, the last dishonored 100% is finished.
I started this back in 2021 and ive on n off been doing it since(mainly due to dunwall city trials
Day 9 of drawing Dishonored characters in my artstyle (bust of Admiral Farley Havelock)

Title is: Is Dishonored Better Without Powers?
I am not promoting the channel, just want opinions from people that love the game if that is cool.
Daud=Doubt?
Hey, there's something that I have on my mind for many years now coming up here and there and that would be the question if it's intentional that Daud's name sounds like doubt? (I'm not a native speaker and only played the games with german vo so far so take my theory with a shipping crate of salt)
Whether or not it's intentional, it would be so fitting because doubt pretty much sums up Daud's character in the entire first game and knive of dunwall which also sets him up for his actions in death of the outsider.
Any thoughts on Daud's doubts?
Day 8 of drawing Dishonored characters in my artstyle (Lizzy Stride)
This has been floating around my brain for a while, so here you go...
Dunwall City Trials lost progress
I am fuming right now.
After about 2 years, I decided to finally finish the Dunwall City trials and get all achievements. I only had Back Alley Brawll and Bonfires left to do, I got the rest of the achievements years ago.
Well guess what? For some godforsaken reason, the progress for this DLC is saved in the same file as your configuration settings, and if you reinstall the game that file can get reset. So now I have to do it all over again! I already hated this DLC, now I hate it even more.
Does anyone know if it is possible to recover these files? Or even better, if Void Star unlocks if I have the rest of the achievements?
