If I accidentally eliminate someone in a mission but restart it at the summary/end screen to do it cleanly, do I still get the Clean Hands achievement or should I re-start the game?

I've just started the game today and want to do my first run on fully non-lethal. Since I've accidentally caught one of the guards in the timed bomb's explosion, I'd love to know if I can still get the achievement if I restart the mission while I'm still early on and not face a sour disappointment at the end.

Gotta love how haters can't stop making shit up to paint us as right wingers

They really struggle to understand that if they simply stopped posting catastrophist cringe they wouldn't be our main source of entertainment lmao

Why are Iron Hands so unpopular in the larger fandom?

Maybe it's just me stumbling into bad apples but whenever I casually browse other 40k-related sub or YT videos etc. whenever the Iron Hands come up I keep stumbling on people dunking on them for very.. dumb reasons to say the least. Worst case has to be YT shorts.

Not talking about the usual jokes about Ferrus dying on Istvaan, that's just run-of-the-mill banter after all but genuinely dumb arguments like "Oh the writers don't give a fuck about writing more stuff for them" (like that's a flaw of the faction some how??), or straight up, factually wrong nonsense (i.e. when I asked for examples of IH getting stomped I've been given Wrath of Iron, despite the purge of Contqual being a square imperial victory lol).

Like, seeing this it's hard not to think that an awful lot of haters might just be larpers who consumer meme-lore and cherry picked bits taking them as gospel or straight up just hate the chapter for not being heckin' wholesome chungus like the Salamanders.

I don't know, is it just me getting the wrong idea or did you guys had similar experiences?

Is there a way to set private session for weekly wastes on console?

Some days (especially weekends, like today) I just find myself stuck in this insufferable loop of joining a session and getting kicked out of it after two seconds over and over again without me not being able to do fuck all about it (losing the spare pilgrims coins too ofc, just fuckin' dandy).

Is there any option to just being able to play solo or do I just have to wait someone else to finish firs before I'm allowed the privilege of playing the fucking game that I've paid money for? This is just such pointlessly frustrating bullshit.

[Video game specific] Games that allow you to royally fuck up during story missions/moments.

System Shock 1, The Mining Laser: in the first game, the first key objective in the Hacker's bucket list is to disable Citadel Station's massive mining laser currently aimed towards Earth. Its control panel in the Research level has a big, red button, and there's an audio log on the table right in front of it telling you to really, REALLY think about it pushing it. So if you do it anyways (without completing all the passages needed to activate the failsafe) >!you just obliterate a random city on Earth, vaporizing millions. Not only that, but SHODAN personally thanks you and sends a Cortex Reaver your way to "escort you to the celebration" (Game Over).!<

Fallout New Vegas, Sierra Madre Casino's Vault Trap: without spoiling the main quest's excellent story, let's just say the big final prize of the casino's vault has one more trick up its sleeve, which is also fairly easy to avoid if you simply pay attention to logs. Basically, there's a specific message the casino owner left for the would be thief, which will close the vault's door trapping them inside with no chance of override, forever. As you can guess, curiosity can kill the cat.

Guts & Blackpowder, the music box in London's toymaker shop: in the London map the team will come across an abandoned toy shop, where a toybox can be found, with even the option to wind it up. If you do, it plays "God Save the Queen". Too bad that you should well know at that point that zombies are attracted by noise so if if the thing play, a horde will burst through the windows, with a random nearby teammate character even saying "Patrick, you dullard!"

Just want to share a few suggestions to new players from my humble 1.6k hours of experience in this game.

  1. Don't shoot the bosses' shield in the Assassination mission. You're wasting ammo. Save your bullets for specials/elites and just get stuck in with the team. Learning the boss' patterns (when to dodge and when to parry) is also excellent practice should you ever try to dip your toes in Havoc, and you'll definitely be skill-checked on that during the Orthus Offensive mission.
  2. This is NOT cod zombies. Melee is your main weapon for a reason. If you stand still spraying the horde at every wave you'll just ran out of ammo in the first few minutes and get pummeled the moment you're surrounded- especially to those of you who picked veteran as your starting class. Don't forget to use your ability and grenades also, at least when you're in a tight spot, stimms as well. If you die with a full inventory that means you've wasted plenty of opportunity to use those tools.
  3. Try to pay attention to your teammates' callouts. Someone with a red ammo icon next to their name and constantly asking for ammo isn't trying to pester you, especially if you got a crate in your inventory you might've forgot about.

So, I'm in Chapter 2, second playthrough, just farming some money and other things- just got my hands on my first perfect bear pelt after hunting a grizzly. Hauled my sorry ass all the way from near Strawberry down to St. Denis to find a trapper and see if I could craft something with it since Pearson doesn't need it, however, as I stand right in front of that raggedy schmuck the game tells me that the guy "doesn't have enough materials" for the bear pelt saddle despite me standing right in front of him with the damn thing on my shoulder.

What am I doing wrong here? Do I need to sell it to him first?
