Not "Temporarily Out of Stock".
Just got around to assembling and painting my commander last night - turned out pretty good! Just debating on a decal for the shield or not.
After about a year of deciding what IoM army I wanted to pick. I landed on iron hands. This is the first dreadnought I’ve ever painted.
Ignore the AI looking text on the banner, tried to write Ferrus and it went to pot so just scribbled!
my dear comrades, it is with extra pleasure that I share my dreadnought ironclad ! I'm really happy to have found it for a bite of bread and to have been able to paint it.
He will serve me as a venerable dreadnought for narrative
Throwing up a pic of a sergeant because I thought the bionic leg and tactical rock combo looked cool, it's not a ferrus joke I just need more practice with faces (well half faces for us I suppose) before I give him a head. The real question is for those of you with experience with the dreadnought kits.
How interchangeable are the Redemptor and Brutalis kits? I got a brutalis dreadnought as part of the combat patrol sub but am wondering if I wouldn't like a redemptor more, are the arms easily interchangeable if i bought a gun arm from a bits store?
Also how did you guys go about the assembly? Are there many pain points? The instructions honestly look more like they are for an RC car than a warhammer model, did you just build it fully then paint it or sub assembly? If so how? The magazine suggests painting it in two halves but what do you mount the top half on? My current sub assemblies are with paper clips and a drill bit handle but I'm not sure that's gunna cut it for half a dreadnought.

I feel like I’ve improved a lot I still have a long way to go, but I’m really enjoying how my miniatures are turning out.
This weekends new deployment of Iron Hands. A biologist, an apothecary, 5 sternguard vets, 5 desolation marines and 10 breacher intercessors. Pretty happy with these other then some of the transfers didn't want to stick. However I've wanted primaris breachers for forever and now I have some. Happy machine noises were made.
Made a custom omnisian axe head for the librarian to channel the machine spirit through.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Would it be possible for me to just run Iron Hands Legion Praetor as captain or Gorgon Terminators as assault terminators? I would like to start collecting Iron Hands but lack of unique models is kinda putting me off. Thanks for help!
Hey guys! I plan to start an Iron Hands army (2000pts). I've been playing Salamanders for the last year so I have experience playing Space marines. I need help building a thematic list so suggestions would be nice😅
Thanks everyone!
Still relatively new to warhammer and have been loving working on my iron hands and learning how to incorporae different colors and weathering. My son really wants me to make some salamander units. Is there a chapter that lore wise would get along with the iron hands or they would be "happy" to fight next to, if say made an intercessor squad of a different chapter
Update: So i decided to get an infiltrator squad. Gonna do 5 iron hand infiltrators to support my guns and heavy armor and gonna make an olive green salamander incursor squad as pushing forward to mark targets and be in close like they seem to like to be
So proud of them I took them to the office. Made from the mkii tactical squad from the saturnine box and the forgeworld secutarii upgrade kit.
Hey All,
Wondering how people run the Company Heroes unit ?
What are they good for ?
What do you attach to them ?
Thanks all 😊
Banner is a Medusa head with serpentine hair wrapped around an iron gear.
let me know your thoughts and opinions on possible narratives or maybe we could collaborate on a mature Horus Heresy Narrative with both our home brews. Please let me know in the comments
Deciding to work on building out Clan Raukaan based off their old organization sheet!
