I am about to start painting my Iron hands and I’ve decided to go with the vanilla 8th edition supplement color scheme. The only thing I can’t really get is what those little blue oxide effects on white weapon casings are. It adds a cool detail but I can’t figure out how to achieve that while painting. Is it possible to do it with the Vallejo Blue Color Set I have?

I’ve just stumbled upon a poster of the Halloween 3: Season of the Witch movie in a random instagram reel. The logo there instantly reminded me of HoMM 3 logo in almost every aspect: fonts, composition, colors. Interestingly enough, the movie came out in 1982, while the game was released in 1999.

Moreover, HoMM 2 (released in 1996) had a similar logo proportionally and text-placement speaking, while the font was more heraldic- or medieval-looking.

Does anyone know the history behind the design of any of those logos?
