Brothers finally gonna get around and start painting. I haven't painted before, so I'm sure I'm gonna mess up lol. Gonna use my servo turrets as my practice models a noble sacrifice. Looking to see what brand of paints you all recommend and just some common things to do when painting!

I'm still been debating on which scheme to use either Iron hands or Sons of Medusa and would also love to hear if any of you have painted SoM you're reasoning for doing so!

Still very new and making a separate army but really want to see what you guys think of the detachment and what some possible list to make with them??

Fellow Iron Hands I request some assistance with finalizing my list before I start buying what I need once I get the funds. I am running the HoA with Libarian C.. This is currently what I am going for some notes is that Var is with the 5 man terminator for deep strike purposes, and the Librarian is with the 10 man. I also decided to put the Anicent with the Librarian to use the [Aura] emhancement it has. I am also using the Aggressors with Iron Father and Apothecary putting them in the land raider. How do you all feel about this obviously one noteable change could be switching Aggressors for Heavy Intercessors. I personally like Aggressors (they are my favorite looking model), and with them being able to ignore cover and add onto melee with the Apothecary enhancement I feel its better.
