First time, couldn’t even taste the matcha

I am fairly new to this game
Have had matcha lattes in cafes
I gave in and bought mezame yuki matcha
Bought the chasen holder and the whisk and the bowl
Made matcha today finally
I used mango puree, almond milk and yuki matcha
Didnt get the exact measurements maybe that’s why?
I put the chasen in hot water and sifted the matcha and everything
Oat milk is better w matcha but i heard its not necessarily good for you
Im so sad
I didnt even get a microfoam
I heard that takes time
But i couldnt even TASTE THE MATCHA
I’m sad
What did i do wrong besides maybe everything.
Please help me out open to tips and suggestions

Moka pot fool proof guide

Hi, i decided to upgrade my taste and buy a moka pot. Surfed through this sub and bialetti it is.
I’m getting the 3 cup first
I used a south indian filter coffee pot until now.
I am just overwhelmed by the tips and tricks and the do’s and don’ts on this sub regarding this
I think I need to buy a diffusion plate? And a filter?
And obviously beans and not pre-ground coffee right? i do have a packet of south indian filter coffee can that be used here?
I’m just very confused and overwhelmed with all this
Can somebody please help me out about the things to buy along side the moka pot and a fool proof guide to use it and how to preserve it
