Ubering for a Vehicle

Your thoughts please. I rented a Hertz/Uber vehicle through the app but last drove (my own vehicle) 8 years ago (when the pay was good) with a 4.9 rating and 1500 rides.

Rented a Polestar 2, 69k miles, $240 a week plus added Hertz insurance (to cover off the clock driving). 30 rides a week to renew the rental for the next week (which I can do on Saturday & Sunday in SF area easily) in 8 hour days.

Since vehicle is not mine (rental) I cannot claim mileage on the vehicle for taxes, but I can claim the rental and insurance as a business expense.

Since the vehicle is not mine (no depreciation), I can also claim the public charging as a business expense too.

Mostly doing this for a vehicle without buying it out right or changing my credit through financing a new vehicle.

Plan to do destination rides home on regular work days to make some money on the trips home.

Already an Uber Pro (gold) and getting discounts for the EVgo charging stations.

Fire, Grass, Violence, and a Bush

Fire surrounds me everywhere, but the grass beneath my feet and everywhere else is green and soft. There are men everywhere, engulfed in fames, killing each other, but they do not fall. They constantly scream in agony consumed in fire.

There is a green bush near me, the only other thing besides the grass, the men, and the raging fire. The bush is also engulfed by the flames but stays green. The bush (or some entity) talks to me but I cannot understand or remember what it is saying. I know I am dreaming but I cannot wake.

The flames do burn or harm me, although they are all around me. The constant crys of men fighting, in agony, fill the air. I am only an observer, present, but only there to witness.

I wake. The most vivid dream I have ever experienced.

Washington Post Investigation on Iranian Missle Strikes of US Assets

Tldr: Washington Post collaborated Iranian images with European satellites since US Government has blocked release of US based satellite imagery.

228 US structures or pieces of equipment were damaged or destroyed by Iranian missles, across 15 US bases.

Pentag0n calls the report inaccurate but failed to include any additional information or cite what was specifically inaccurate.

Case in point, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars took 15 and 20 years. No one really said we were losing those wars until multiple attempts to install a new leadership were not supported by the people (except Iraq - finally).

But in Iraq and Afghanistan, no US bases outside of those countries were bombed, missed, or otherwise attacked. Additionally, Sadam was executed and Bin Laden killed. But the American public did not pay the price for those wars at the pump, or in exporting fees.

The Iran war, multiple US bases have been attacked. Millions (possibly billions) of dollars worth of aircraft lost, US military camps evacuated and p9ssibly destroyed.

Gasis up more than 45% per gallon nationwide. Now Trump is saying the US doesn't need a nuclear treaty, and there is still one Iranian secret enrichment site (no one knows where it is) producing enriched plutonium.

We have lost the war in less than 60 days without a clear exit, instead of just taking a big fat L.

Maybe DEI wasn't the problem.
