she is no longer climbing the walls at night! c:
hello my spider friends!!
the other day i posted about my arizona blonde, Ivy, who had taken several falls from climbing the walls at night. after this, i raised the substrate and now, she’s actually keeping cozy! i have seen her start to move around substrate in her hide and sleep in it.
my only question now is (as a beginner), i feel as though i have the wrong substrate for her. i was told to get zilla jungle mix and hermit crab sand, for. 3:1 ratio. in researching, i’ve learned there are things within the zilla mix that may hurt her as well as the hermit crab sand not being the best for her lungs.
i DID order some terra aranea, but seeing that she’s finally getting comfortable with her environment, i would hate to switch everything out AGAIN! what should i do?
