A few months ago most AI generated videos still had that obvious fake look. Strange hand movement weird lip sync random frame glitches and camera motion that felt off. I mostly ignored the whole space because it felt more experimental than useful.

Recently I tested a few newer tools and honestly some of the cinematic results surprised me. Especially short clips made from simple prompts. I ended up trying AI Inspo⁠ because someone mentioned it in a creator discussion and it was interesting seeing multiple video models in one place instead of jumping between different platforms.

The part that caught my attention was how different prompts behaved across different models. One model handled motion better while another looked more realistic with lighting and facial detail. It actually felt more like directing scenes than generating random AI clips.

I still think AI video is in an awkward stage sometimes but compared to last year the jump is huge.

Anyone else experimenting with cinematic AI clips lately or still think most of it looks too artificial?

Okay so I gotta ask because this has been confusing the hell out of me lately.
