How is life in Sakartvelo?
Hi everyone, Because of my work I get to know people from all over the world (I work in manufacturing & export), so naturally I made friends from Africa, Europe, the US, to the dangerous countries in the Middle East such as Syria and Iraq One of the countries that I couldn’t do business in, so naturally I couldn’t make friends and discover the culture from there (and I’m really curious about) is Georgia. You can’t discover the culture by simply visiting as a tourist because you are mostly seeing the touristic part. I am really curious. I did a small research but still I don’t really trust the internet because it’s mostly not true + it shows what the publishing side wants you to believe, not the truth. I will keep it short. How’s the food? What does your main meal look like and what are the funny facts or stereotypes about Georgia?
1-Do u fear Russian invasion or no? (I feel like Georgia is not that political a country compared to the others. They have their own problems internally but it’s rare to hear that they are bad with another country. Plus they are a major investment hub it’s kinda like the UAE of the Caucasus. They may pick a side but that’s it.)
2- Most importantly, how do your people view dogs? I know that you have a lot of strays, but for example some countries have a huge number of stray dogs. Mostly people don’t want them in their home they love them, feed them and take care of them but it ends there.
3- If anyone from the subreddit has had the chance to travel a lot, which country has the most similar food to yours?
4- How does the average family life look? What is the thing that your people hate a lot? And is there anything that pisses you off about foreigners? For example, one of my Turkish friends told me that they get really pissed off when someone pictures them as Arabs (in movies tv shows etc etc)
5- And lastly, if you could choose, would you leave your country and live in another place or no? And why?
