My friend is having this random connection issue with my server

I sare my sever with a few friends, and one of them is having this issue where the Jellyfin connection times out randomly and won't accept the ip address unless she copy + pastes it from tailscale directly.

Weirdly enough, the ip address doesn't change or disappear, but if she tries to just reconnect with the address already there, it doesn't work. It'll only work by copy + pasting from tailscale.

If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate it. I'm new to sharing my server with friends and she's the only one it's happened to, so I'm at a loss rn as to what to look for or any settings to change or update to fix the issue.

Any idea why these posters won't full load on desktop?

I'm not really sure what's happening. But my anime section won't fully load in the poster art. My other sections (movies, collections, TV shows) load posters just fine. And if I click on an individual anime, all the art loads in just fine as well

Even more perplexing, phone apps, and TV apps load the art just fine as well.

Jellyfin is fully updated, and I rescanned the library.

Any insight into this is appreciated. If you need any extra info, I'm happy to give it.

I don't have any plug-ins aside from Metadata scrapper plug-ins

Thanks again

EDIT: Clearing my browser cache fixed it, thank you u/dirtyoldgoat

Can't get my collection's library to stop auto populating

I absolutely hate that collections are created for any series with 2 movies or, like with the mcu movies, every hero is getting its own collection. It just makes that section of jellyfin so bloated and ridiculous

I delete the needless ones, but every so often, they all repopulate back. I've locked the meta data on the library and checked every setting I can find. I read the documentation. Can't find anything to solve the issue.

I'm not perfect, maybe I missed something while reading the docs, maybe I'm not looking in the right places. If anyone could give me some insight I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance

Friendly reminder to take breaks and enjoy your media

For context I've been setting up my first server for over 2 months now, ripping disc's and adding them and getting custom poster art, having a nice curated collection tab. About a week ago I tried binding tailscale for the first time with the thought process of worst case scenario I just go back on settings.

This was not in fact the thought process I should have had. It resulted in my server becoming in accessible which spiraled into the server being completely broken. I have the server back thankfully and nothing I worked on is lost just buried within files and jellyfin is just using Metadata it auto populated for some films (ones I made custom posters for) collections I put together not auto created. All this to day I felt so demoralized cause I know its going to be a process getting things cleaned up. Oh and tailscale still isn't set up.

All this to say I just decided I'll take a break and just watch the stuff I put on here for a cool minute, just as a nice break and so I can remember why ghe hell I dropped 2k on this set up and invested 2 months of my life on this project. I'm just gonna enjoy it, watch stuff and try and be at peace with the chaotic mess it currently looks like.

Id unno this is mostly something I needed to get off my chest, maybe I'm mistaken and most folks on here have never experienced this issue of just being consumed by setting things up but ive seen a few posts here and there about Jellyfin servers just ending up being a thing to endlessly work on for them so I know maybe at least a few folks are in the same boat as me.
