I just updated to 0.55.2, and after migrating to Lua, everything worked perfectly, except the fact that the animations makes it feel more like I'm waiting for a train to stop than switching between workspaces. It's much slower than they were in the previous version I was on, which was from some time before Lua configuration had been implemented. I'm using Hypr 0.55.2 on x86_64 NixOS, kernel version 7.0.10 (zen kernel), and integrated Radeon 780M graphics. The hell?
I can't seem to find any information on this, other than stuff that seems like what isn't my problem. I made a 512 megabyte partition on a 16GB flash drive, formatted it with FAT32 (sudo mkfs.vfat -F 32 /dev/sda1), copied over the BIOS update and renamed it to msi.rom, plugged it into the USB 2.0 port, and then hit the button. It flashed red about 5 times, and now it's solid red. Motherboard is the MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI. Did I do something wrong?
I'm in the situation where I need to mount maybe hundreds of isos to VMs, which will be coming from a HTTP server. Downloading them isn't an option, since it would waste a boatload of disk space. QEMU can do it (-drive id=disk0,file=https://127.0.0.1/diskimage.iso,format=raw,index=0,media=cdrom), so it seems like it should be possible. How would I?
I've been looking at registering a .de domain hack. I usually use Porkbun for this kind of stuff; however, it doesn't deal with the admin-c requirements for .de. I'm unsure where to start; do I use Spaceship or Dynadǫt or INWX or something else entirely?
