If you had to go by one of your kins’ names legally for the rest of your life, who would you pick? Or, if you already do, which one is it?
Technically, X do go by a shortened version of a kin name (Fer), but it’s only online and X picked the name before X had the kin. X would like to go by JD in real life, however, X live in an area where that’s not realistic and there’s already a JD in my class. Other names are hard because X typically went by nicknames in my canons (for example Fizzie for Fitz or Rattler for Striker), making them not likely to be taken seriously if they were my legal name.
