Have one full day in Jakarta tomorrow and I want to focus on exploring local food. What are the ‘must have’ dishes in Jakarta? I’d appreciate suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m staying in Central Jakarta but won’t mind travelling a bit further.

I don’t have much plans tomorrow, so I have a lot of time to explore and try the food. Would also love to have a local join, if you’re interested.

I’m planning to do Mt. Bromo sunrise hike from Malang/Probolingo between Aug 12 and 16 before heading towards Bali. Would love to join if anyone else has similar plans.
