Played in a tournament and this came up. Biovore's ability is instead of making attacks. 13.09 Hidden states that the model needs to have not made ranged attacks. This allows you to make spore mines without losing hidden meaning you can position the biovores however you want on the home to screen without worry. Feels a little weird but RAW it works.
