Sorry if this is worded weirdly I’m a little uncomfortable even asking this but I want to figure it out soon rather than later.

I’m 16 and haven’t shaved/trimmer hair below the waist at all before and don’t have any specific products made to do so. I’ve done a bit of research and it keeps coming up as I should use a comb as a barrier while using scissors to trim the hair and avoid cutting skin. I won’t be surprised if this is true but I think we can all agree Google isn’t the best source.

If anyone can give advice so I could trim the hair without cutting my nuts or something it would be appreciated😅

Why does the anime leave out so many important details when they just cause confusion later on? I would understand if they had to cut small things here and there for timing, but they consistently leave huge details (or at least I've heard they have).

Follow up different question. Due to these missing details should I be reading the web novels or is that not gonna have as many of the details that get made officially canon?
