Bra Fit Help: 30GG/32G Sizing, Panache Envy Fitting Updates, and Everyday Bra Recommendations

I’m looking for pointers on bras that might be good starting points for my size, shape, and what I’m looking for. I’ve been wearing sports bras almost exclusively for years, so I’m very out of practice with regular bra shopping. I’ve ordered a ton of bras from Nordstrom over the past ~7 years without finding anything that really fits, complicated by some weight loss and regain along the way. I updated this post with this week's Panache Envy fitting based on bra calc size rec.

Calculator results: 30GG, with 32G as a sister size

Measurements:

  • Loose underbust: 31"

  • Snug underbust: 30"

  • Tight underbust: 29.5"

  • Standing bust: 38.75"

  • Leaning bust: 40.5"

  • Lying bust: 40.25"

Shape/anatomy:

  • Left breast is larger than right

  • Projected

  • Full on bottom

Very close/touching separation

  • Full to semi-full

  • Semi-supported to settled

  • Forward apex

  • Overall shape is closest to HerRoom's "archetype," aside from the asymmetry

For additional context, I’m 5'4", 175 lbs, and gradually working my way back toward ~140 lbs, so I expect my size may continue to change. I’m US-based.

What I'm looking for

My ideal everyday bra would:

  • Give some minimizing/reducing of projection under clothing

  • Provide good lift and support

  • Have enough coverage that I don't spill out when bending/moving

  • Provide nipple coverage under T-shirts

  • Be soft/comfortable rather than scratchy

  • Have comfortable, supportive straps

Panache Envy fit update

I ordered the Panache Envy as a diagnostic bra based on the calculator results, and it gave me a much better idea of what is and isn't working.

30GG: Definitely a no-go. The band was extremely tight. I could barely fasten it, and my breasts were spilling out of the cups.

32G: I actually ordered a 32G, but Amazon sent a 32GG. ETA: I checked the bras and they sent 32G, just human confusion. This was much closer. The band is pretty snug, but I can comfortably fasten it on the loosest hooks. The cups just barely contain my breasts when I'm standing upright, with only minimal spillover.

The bigger issue is movement and coverage. If I bend over and stand back up, I get some spillage and need to readjust myself back into the cups. Because of that, I don't think the cups are tall/full-coverage enough for what I want in an everyday bra.

That said, the Envy taught me a few useful things. Under a T-shirt, I really like the lift and somewhat minimizing effect compared with the sports bras I've been wearing. I could also see keeping something like the Envy for V-neck tops or dresses where cleavage is intentional.

For an everyday bra, though, I'd like to take what works about the Envy and find something with taller/more containing cups, better nipple coverage, and softer fabric.

Given the Envy fit, what bras and sizes would you suggest I try next? I'm especially interested in recommendations that could help narrow down whether I need a larger cup, a different cup shape, or both.

Bonus sports-bra question: I’d also love recommendations for a high-impact sports bra that I can actually jump/run in. Racerbacks are a no-go because the load on my traps gives me headaches. Ideally it would have traditional straps, good nipple coverage, and more separation than compression/“uniboob.” Minimizing would be a bonus.

The best sports bra I've found so far is a discontinued Target unicorn that I now own multiples of. It’s definitely more of a merger than a separator, but it has worked well enough that I've ended up wearing it daily.

Thank you in advance! I’m very open to suggestions based on what the Envy fit is telling me.

Big or small brands of stylish orthopedic shoes for late 30s (arch, heel cup, wider toes)

I've fallen upon feet issues and I need to retire from shoes which are flat & have no support (bye Rothys Pointes).

I've been living in Birkenstock Arizona's all summer and they are wonderful!

Looking for under cover or popular brands that do orthopedic friendly features but stylish, non-matronly (Aerosoles) or overtly medical device looking (Dr Comfort or Scholls) style footwear. Need to be able to access in US.

I love pointy flats for example, can do kitten heels. I do best with sneakers that have a lower profile and aren't wide looking as I have strong calves.

I've looked at Vionic, Vivaia, Olukai.

Calc = 30GG (or 32G) help with bra & sports bras

I'm looking for pointers from the community here on bras that might be helping starting points for my size and shape, and needs. I've been wearing a sports bra for many years and am out of practice with bra shopping. I've ordered tons of bras from Nordstrom in past 7 years, but not really fit and my weight has fluctuated with weight loss and gain.

An ideal bra would be minimizing, nipple covers and soft and have shoulder supports.

For diagnostics I just ordered Panache Envy on Amazon US in 30GG and 32G, coming Tuesday. I will report back how they fit.

Beside a non sports bra, I'm looking for a sports bra that is not racerback (these give me headaches from the load on my traps), covers nipples, and that I could jump in. I prefer minimizing but one that allows more breast separation, than merging.

The best sports bra that I have most recently used is a DC'ed unicorn from Target [link](https://ebay.io/m/XWaAEl). It's more of a merger than separator, and because it's hard to find a non sports bra, I have a bunch that I wear daily.

Calculator results: 30GG or sister size 32G

Here's my calc values:

  • Loose under bust: 31

  • Snug: 30

  • Tight: 29.5

  • Standing bust: 38.75

  • Leaning: 40.5

  • Lying: 40.25

Shape/Anatomy:

My L boob is larger than R. For anatomy descriptions, referencing [HerRoom](https://www.herroom.com/breast-separation): separation is touching, fullness is full to semi-full, position is semi-supported to settled, apex is forward, shape is most like archectype beside being slightly different sizes.

Using some of ABTF references, my breasts are projected, and full on bottom.

For further context, I'm 5'4" and weigh 175lbs right now. Im slowly working my way back to 140lbs closer to my healthy range. Am US-based.

Thank you in advance!

▲ 1 r/TpLink

What TpLink wifi extender are compatible with AC1750 (Archer C7) router?

I believe I bought this in 2018. Is it safe to assume any TpLink router is compatible? From reading documentation, it seems this router is not mesh compatible. If there's resources out there everyone for beginner level, appreciate the guidance.
